OBI GUATEMALA

Mario Adolfo Bucaro Flores joined the Operation Blessing International team in August 2008 as the National Director of Guatemala.

Mario comes to OBI while serving as managing partner of Central Law, a regional law firm for Central America and the Caribbean. Mario oversees the coordination of the law firm's administrative matters throughout Central America and is also responsible for public relations and developing marketing plans for the firm. He has experience as an advisor and consultant to several prestigious Guatemalan and foreign companies and institutions, facilitating any needed legal services or business contacts.

His studies include Social and Judicial Sciences, Law and Notary Public from Rafael Landívar University in Guatemala as well as post-graduate studies at universities in Salamanca and Toledo, Spain. Mario also has a Master of Science in Commercial Law and Competitiveness.

Before joining Operation Blessing, Mario was chosen to work as a consultant to the European Union in their program dedicated to justice reform in Guatemala. Additionally, he has been involved with humanitarian efforts in the northern part of Coban, a remote area in Guatemala, as well as humanitarian outreaches through his church.

Mario is married to Carina and they have a 4-year-old daughter.
