What are Gifts-In-Kind?


A Gifts-In-Kind are donations that are received from growers, food chains, manufacturing and production facilities, distributors and other industry organizations. Examples of donations include non-perishable and perishable food products; disaster relief and medical supplies; pharmaceuticals; building materials and supplies; clothing and textiles; seeds and agricultural tools; books, journals, educational materials and school supplies; and basic hygiene items.
