A bite from a tiny mosquito doesn’t seem like a matter of life or death, but for more than
2 billion people, the small insect has the potential to spread diseases and death. Every 30 seconds, a
child dies from malaria, yet something as simple as a $10 bed net can change that. OBI is working to
purchase and distribute 100,000 nets to families living in high-risk regions. Insecticide-treated nets act
as a safe barrier that protects families while they sleep and provides a lifesaving
solution. A gift of $50 will provide 5 nets for families in need.
