For many impoverished communities,
access to basic health care is limited.
Operation Blessing is bringing
outpatient medical and dental care
to these regions through MedEx kits.
The Medical Express program trains
local community health workers in
first aid care, then supplies them
with kits containing enough basic
medicines and supplies to treat
illnesses and minor injuries for a
community of up to 200 people. A gift
of $300 will go toward the training
of community health workers and
provide a 3-month start-up kit of
medicine and supplies.
