Operation Blessing International Sudan Refugee Care
An ongoing civil war in Sudan has forcibly displaced more than 2.5 million people and sent them fleeing to IDP (Internally Displaced Person) camps throughout Darfur. After journeying by truck across the hot African desert, hundreds of refugees arrive daily at these camps with little possessions, food or water. Last year, Operation Blessing began partnering with German non-profit Humedica to help fund schools, a daily feeding program and medical clinics at camps now serving a combined population of more than 100,000. A gift of $45 will help support our food, medical and educational efforts as well as allow us to expand our facilities and staff to continue serving this burgeoning refugee population.
