In the next 2 years, an estimated 106 million children under age 15 are projected to lose one or both parents. Others will be abandoned because of abuse, social or financial problems. OBI's Orphan's Promise is reaching out to these vulnerable children by supporting orphanages in Asia that rescue young girls from child trafficking; establishing safe housing for war orphans in Burma and Africa; providing food and educational programs for street kids in India; and offering life skills and computer courses to teens "aging out" of state institutions in Ukraine. A gift of $30 provides essentials for living for three orphaned children, while a gift of $100 helps fund an orphan training center.
