Gary V assists OB Philippines with emergency food distributions to typhoon victims.

ORLANDO, Fla. - This was no ordinary concert for Gary V.

The Filipino music star, who is currently touring the U.S., arrived in Orlando, Florida with a very special purpose: to help his fellow Filipinos by hosting a benefit concert to aid his typhoon-devastated country.

About 200 people attended the concert hosted by Grace Fellowship Church and, by the end of the night, more than $8,000 was raised—all of which went directly to Operation Blessing to support their ongoing disaster relief efforts.

“Operation Blessing has a perfect name…because that’s exactly what they do—they bless,” Gary said.

Gary has been involved in multiple humanitarian outreaches with OB Philippines and was on-hand recently to help teams distribute emergency food packages to typhoon victims.

To date, Operation Blessing and partners have helped more than 214,687 victims with relief such as medical services and relief goods distributions.
