| Elementary school children in the Philippines learn how to properly brush their teeth. |
PHILIPPINES – It’s hard to practice basic dental health and hygiene without a proper toothbrush, but thanks to Operation Blessing, school-age children across the Philippines are well on their way to a healthier smile.
During one week, Operation Blessing’s mobile dental clinic visited four elementary schools in Davao City, distributing toothbrushes, teaching basic dental health and hygiene, and providing students with routine dental cleanings and check-ups.
 |
| OB Philippines also donated more than 600 reading and educational books to the schools. |
The clinic’s free services also included extractions, fluoride treatments, and distribution of medicine as needed.
In all, nearly 300 students benefited from the mobile clinic. Teams also gave each school a set of 150 assorted reading and educational books.
