    Zalathiel Rodriguez Diaz

    OBI Mexico

Zalathiel Rodriguez Diaz has worked with Operation Blessing International Mexico since May 2000. As a representative for their outreach center, he oversees various humanitarian programs that promote health and education for the poor throughout Mexico. The outreach center has linked arms with more than 29 churches and organizations and reaches over 600 people monthly.

Previously, Zalathiel worked for World Vision as an external advisor, later as the Evaluation and Training Coordinator and finally as the National Director. Zalathiel also participated in various humanitarian programs targeting children and families through his work in the government’s Social Development and Educational departments. He served as a lay pastor for at least four Methodist Mexican churches and as Coordinator of Social Issues, Emergency and Relief programs. Additionally, Zalathiel founded several non-governmental agencies (NGOs) such as Talitha Cumi, AME and PROMEVI.

After earning a Bachelor of Arts in Agriculture with a minor in Rural Development and Business Administration, Zalathiel began a graduate program called “Leadership 2000.” His education includes studies in management at INCAE in Costa Rica and a leadership development program at the Center for Creative Leadership in San Diego, California.
Diaz’s world-travel repertoire includes Ecuador, Bahamas, Honduras, Guatemala, Cost Rica, Columbia and the United States. He values spending time outdoors with his family.
