Operation Blessing International (OBI) has an immediate opening for a Warehouse Worker/Truck Driver. The qualified candidate will provide effective shipping, receiving and warehousing support to OBI’s Grand Prairie, TX distribution center.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
• Working knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory systems
• Skilled in MS Office and industry standard inventory software applications
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift 80+ pounds on a consistent basis
• Ability to work with high attention to detail
• Ability to drive rented trucks for local deliveries
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Good driving record and valid driver’s license

Program Manager, International Livelihood

International Relief – Virginia Beach, VA

OBI is seeking an experienced Program Manager to assist in developing effective humanitarian and community development programs, concentrating in the sector of Agriculture, Livelihood and Microenterprise initiatives.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

• Strong international humanitarian program development and management experience
• Extensive working knowledge of cross-cultural environments and customs
• Bachelor’s degree in Humanitarian Development or 3 years similar working experience in microenterprise, agriculture, livelihood programs desirable
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Computer proficiency in MS Office: Word, Excel, and familiar with Access
• Strong ability to assess resources, plan, track, and report project status and outcomes
• Excellent logistical, decision making and problem solving skills

International Health Programs Manager

Full Time Truck Driver

Driver Residence Location: Southeast United States – North Florida / Georgia / North or South Carolina

OBI is seeking a Full Time Truck Driver to work with the Hunger Strike Force to transport product to and from assigned pick-up and delivery locations. This position requires safe operation of assigned OBI tractor and trailer equipment in compliance with the Department of Transportation’s Federal Motor Carriers Safety Regulations (FMCSR).

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

• Must have Commercial Drivers License (CDL), Class “A”
• DOT Medical Certification required
• 300,000+ miles previous driving experience
• No DMV chargeable offenses for immediate 3-year period prior to employment
• Must pass DOT drug test and also pass an alcohol test prior to employment
• Working knowledge of DOT 11, 14, and 70 hour drive/work rule
• Working knowledge and ability to adjust fifth wheel and axles to legally scale load in accordance with DOT Bridge laws
• Knowledge of DOT Federal Motor Carriers Safety Regulations
• Ability to plan and execute travel-time in a safe, legal and DOT compliant manner
• Ability to perform DOT compliant vehicle inspections
• Skill in hooking and unhooking tractor-trailer combination units
• Ability to travel 5+ consecutive days/nights per week
• Ability to handle stress, and meet deadlines and time demands
• Ability to communicate to donors, ministries and dispatch in a positive manner
• Ability to drive for long periods of time; ability to stand, walk and lift 25+ pounds

National Director – Haiti

Disaster Relief – Port-au-Prince, Haiti

OBI is seeking an experienced National Director in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. This individual will reside in Haiti and manage the day-to-day operations. Our National Director will represent OBI in-country by giving direction and leadership toward the achievement of the organization’s philosophy, mission, strategy, and its annual goals and objectives. They also coordinate and implement effective humanitarian projects in Haiti and provide timely update reports to Operation Blessing, International.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

• Strong field experience providing humanitarian and/or disaster relief with emphasis in health, agriculture or construction desirable
• Willing to relocate to Port-au-Prince, Haiti
• Working knowledge of cross-cultural environments and customs or international business
• Excellent project management skills with ability to plan, lead and follow through on complex projects
• Excellent leadership skills with ability to lead, manage and direct a team
• Critical thinker with ability to provide solutions for diverse and complex problems
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (French skills a plus)
