Corporate Account Manager

Operation Blessing International – Virginia Beach, VA

Operation Blessing International (OBI), an international humanitarian relief and development organization, is seeking a highly-motivated Corporate Account Manager to join their team of relationship-driven professionals! The ideal candidate will be able to effectively communicate the mission of Operation Blessing to companies with resources that can be used to support global hunger relief, medical, and disaster response programs. We are looking for an innovative networker who can motivate and inspire others.

Our Corporate Account Manager will successfully acquire gift-in-kind donations from these corporations and other sources, and manage the facilitation and documentation of procured resources in support of our programs. This goal-oriented individual will cultivate national corporate accounts through successfully procuring a wide-array of donated products to meet on-going program needs.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Experience communicating with corporate contacts an organization’s needs and the ability to close conversations with the result being product donations
  • An ability to service existing accounts and establish new donors by planning and organizing a daily work schedule to call on existing or potential donation outlets
  • Working knowledge of managing corporate accounts for sales or gifts in kind
  • Working knowledge of resource procurement, and standards and regulations
  • Strong computer skills, proficient in the Microsoft Office suite and SalesForce
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate OB’s mission and purpose
  • Excellent oral, written, negotiation, and corporate-level presentation skills
  • Ability to meet truckload quantity goals through planning and organization, and the ability to evaluate program effectiveness
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and meet department goals and deadlines
  • Ability to be flexible, take initiative, work independently and be an effective member of the team
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize and meet on-going GIK deadlines efficiently

Program Manager – Clean Water Initiatives

OBI is seeking an experienced Program Manager to further develop, implement and monitor clean water initiatives in OBI Global centers.

Disaster Relief – Port-au-Prince, Haiti

OBI is seeking an experienced field worker to serve as a Program Manager in Port Au Prince, Haiti.  This individual will reside in Haiti and coordinate with Haitian team members to implement various humanitarian projects, manage existing relief efforts, and provide administrative and reporting support.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Experience managing humanitarian programs and/or disaster relief projects including but not limited to the areas of health, water and agriculture
  • Willingness to relocate to Port-au-Prince, Haiti
  • Ability to navigate coordination efforts with government agencies and non-government organizations (NGOs)

Operation Blessing International – East Coast & Mid-West

Operation Blessing International (OBI) is seeking a Full Time Truck Driver to work with Hunger Strike Force to transport product to and from assigned pick-up and delivery locations. This position will ensure safe operation of assigned OB tractor and trailer in compliance with Department of Transportation’s Federal Motor Carriers Safety Regulations (FMCSR).

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Must have Commercial Drivers License (CDL), Class “A”
  • DOT Certification required
  • 300,000+ miles previous driving experience
  • No DMV chargeable offenses for immediate 3-year period prior to employment
  • Must pass DOT drug and alcohol test prior to employment
  • Working knowledge of DOT 11, 14, and 70 hour drive/work rule
  • Working knowledge of trailer product placement in accordance with Federal Bridge laws
  • Knowledge of DOT Federal Motor Carriers Safety Regulations
