Operation Blessing is working to provide a sustainable food source for Haitians through aquaponics—growing fish and plants together in one integrated system without soil. The fish waste provides food for the plants and the plants filter the water—yielding a fresh, renewable source of healthy fish and vegetables. Now a pilot program at Zanmi Beni, the goal is to expand aquaponics across Haiti.
