Today people will die because basic medical services are out of their
reach. For some there’s no doctor available. Others lack basic
medicines and a minor cold develops into pneumonia. Did you know that
a broken arm or leg left untreated can become a permanent deformity?
Many families don’t have a choice. There is no money to buy
what is needed or there are few, if any, services or supplies available.
Every day parents around the world face the harsh reality of not being
able to provide basic health care and needed medical attention for
their children.
At Operation Blessing, we work to provide free medical and dental
care to tens of thousands of hurting people around the world. Performing
surgical and clinical procedures during short-term medical missions
and delivering hard to get equipment, supplies, vitamins and medicines
is how we are bringing healing to a hurting world. Lives are being
saved because people care.
