Hepatitis Outbreak Stopped in Ukraine Orphanage

Ukraine - An orphanage for handicapped boys in rural Ukraine suffered a terrible outbreak of Hepatitis A in July. Four boys were hospitalized, and more than 100 other orphans were in danger of contracting the virus.

OB Ukraine Cares for Orphans, Elderly & the Poor

As much as she loves all 300 orphans, Berdyansk Orphanage’s headmistress Galina Miechiova dreams all of them will be adopted some day. Through tears, she told the OB Ukraine team, “Every time a child is taken away [adopted], the others always ask me, ‘When will it be my turn? Who will come for me?’"
