Senior Manager – Medical Procurement & Corporate Relations

Operation Blessing (OB), an international humanitarian relief and development organization, is seeking a Senior Manager – Medical Procurement & Corporate Relations to join their team of relationship-driven professionals!  The ideal candidate will be able to effectively communicate the mission of Operation Blessing to companies with resources that can be used to support global hunger relief, medical, and disaster response programs.  We are looking for an innovative networker who can motivate and inspire others.

Our Senior Manager will develop and implement the program to successfully acquire medical gift-in-kind donations and negotiate the purchase of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies direct from manufacturer. You will also manage the acquisition, facilitation, and documentation of procured resources in support of Operation Blessing’s international medical programs.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications

  • Proven knowledge of managing corporate accounts for sales, funding and/or gifts-in-kind.
  • Ability to create and implement strategies for the development of gift-in-kind donations and beneficial resource purchase.
  • Working knowledge or experience in pharmaceuticals and medical supplies.
  • Ability to meet resource and cash goals.
  • Perform to ensure highest level of corporate engagement.
  • Excellent oral, written, interpersonal, networking and corporate-level presentation skills.
  • Skilled at utilizing innovative networking, motivation, and inspiration techniques.
  • Ability to service existing accounts and establish new donors by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential donation outlets.
  • Ability to develop and implement growth strategies and evaluate program effectiveness.
  • Ability to take initiative, work independently and be an effective member of a team.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize and meet on-going deadlines efficiently.
  • Strong computer skills; proficient in the entire Microsoft Office suite and the SalesForce database, preferred, or experience with a similar customer relations and inventory management system.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
