Food for Flood Survivors in Honduras

Field Report by Operation Blessing

HONDURAS – Listen as Adrian tells his story about surviving the flood in Honduras after Hurricane Eta. Flooding caused by hurricanes can bring extensive destruction as floods destroy homes, businesses, and lives. The storm forced a major river in Adrian’s area to overflow its banks. Because of this, many families had to run for their lives in the middle of the night, a critical necessity for surviving the flood in Honduras. There was no time to save any personal possessions, Adrian told Operation Blessing staff. Likewise, all of his neighbors were focused on rescuing their families. Therefore, many flood survivors are now homeless in Honduras, and do not know where their next meal is coming from.

Thankfully, Operation Blessing’s faithful partners have a heart for the hurting. Amidst one of the most destructive hurricane seasons in history, your dedication and love has been a beacon of light. Through your support, Operation Blessing staff in Honduras donated a large shipment of foodstuffs to local shelters. This food is feeding hungry flood survivors in Honduras. Survivors who have lost everything and desperately need your help. Thank you for your incredible generosity.
