When Hurricane Florence hit North Carolina, water started flooding the home of John and Crystal Price. They jumped in their truck and tried to flee, but rising flood waters shorted out the vehicle’s electronics. They were forced to escape out of the window and wade through chest deep water to reach safety. When they returned home, most of their possessions were completely destroyed. Their floors were buckled and the drywall was soaked through. The task ahead of these Hurricane Florence victims was overwhelming. Both John and Crystal are disabled, and, with no insurance, they had nowhere to turn. That’s when Operation Blessing showed up and gave Hurricane Florence victims John and Crystal a much needed helping hand.
