Hurricane Florence wreaked havoc up and down the coast of the Carolinas. Homes across both states were buffeted by heavy winds and inundated by rising floodwaters. One of them belonged to Judy Nelson. Judy is a widow and had no one to help her with the grueling task of ripping out drywall and pulling up warped wooden floors – not to mention carrying heavy furniture out of her house. That’s when Operation Blessing showed up to help Judy take those first crucial steps towards recovery.
