Manuel “Memo” Alfonso Rodriguez joined Operation Blessing International in 2007 as the National Director of El Salvador.
Manuel studied Economic Sciences at the Central American University Jose Simeón Cañas. After graduating, he went on to start his own television studio and publish a magazine. In the mid 80s, Manuel was also active in politics, acting as Congressman to the Legislative Assembly, first Organ of the State, for the National Executive Council of the Party of National Conciliation.
Manuel has also held various positions in public administration such as Magistrate of the Court of Accounts of the Republic, President of the Financing and Guarantee Fund for the Small Company (FIGAPE), and currently, Vice President of the Banco de Fomento Agropecuario (Farming Development Bank).
Manuel, who is one of five brothers, is married to Sonia, and the couple has two children.
