Liberia Water Wells Help Hundreds
In small villages in Liberia, there is no access to safe water. Some villagers rely on ground water, digging holes that dry up during the dry season. They then have to walk great distances to find a source of water that may be just as unsafe as the one they used before. As a result, many fall sick with waterborne diseases. With no medical care readily available, they then have to travel far to find care. And even then, with villages of farmers, there is not a lot of money to spend on medical expenses. Operation Blessing built new water wells in several of these communities. The wells help hundreds of people with the gift of readily available water to drink.
