It all started with an ingrown toenail. Jose Hernandez didn’t detect it early enough. Soon, it became infected and the doctors were forced to amputate the toe. But the process was complicated because of Jose’s aggressive diabetes. That’s when the doctors told him most of his leg would need to be amputated. Jose’s life was turned upside down. But he wasn’t going to give up. He decided to start his own business selling candies, so he borrowed a wheelchair to help him get around. But the wheelchair was in terrible shape. One day, it broke down completely and left him lying helplessly on the pavement. Operation Blessing heard about Jose’s situation and was so blessed to witness his work ethic and resiliency. So, thanks to your faithfulness and generosity, Operation Blessing was able to supply Jose with a brand new wheelchair that will increase his mobility and allow him to continue doing business.
