Nkimbosho is a single mother who used to walk hours each day in the Kenyan wilderness just to retrieve enough water for her and her children to survive. The journey was hindering Nkimbosho from working, and soon she didn’t have enough money to pay school fees for her children. Operation Blessing installed a new water tower in the region and placed a tap in Nkimbosho’s village. Now, she only needs to travel minutes to retrieve water for cooking, cleaning and feeding her livestock. The change has allowed her to make enough money to send her kids to university. A radical change made possible by the presence of safe water.
