Safe Water for Remote Haitian Village

Safe Water for Remote Haitian Village

Families in the remote Haitian village of Boukan are twice thankful for Operation Blessing. OB Haiti first traveled to the area in the aftermath of Hurricane Matthew. The roads to reach the community were impassible, forcing the team to cross the river many times to reach their destination. Residents learned how to use H2gO handheld chlorine generators to manufacture chlorine to disinfect their water and make it safe to drink. Recently, Operation Blessing returned to the area with even more H2gO units so over 600 people in this community can drink water without fear.
