Shaping A Better Life In The Mountains Of Honduras

In Honduras, Esperanza has been making clay pottery for the last 20 years. But her potter’s wheel was in terrible shape and she had no oven for heating her works. Instead, she was forced to use the same grill where she cooked food for herself and her daughter. Broken and makeshift tools meant that she and her daughter could only produce a small amount of pottery—barely enough to sustain them. She simply lacked the capital needed to repair and replace these essential implements. Because of your generosity, Operation Blessing was able to provide Esperanza with the tools to take her business to new heights. She received a new potter’s wheel, an oven, and even new paints and molds to make bigger and more ambitious products. Thanks to you, Esperanza and her daughter are using their talents to the fullest.
