The Artisan Women of Comasagua

In the remote village of Comasagua, El Salvador, the women used to work on coffee plantations. But over time, the work began to dwindle, leaving many with no way to earn an income. They turned to making jewelry and handicrafts to sell locally at the marketplace—but they lacked the capital for space and materials. That’s where Operation Blessing’s faithful supporters stepped in. Thanks to our generous partners, these creative women now have their own space and materials to produce beautiful jewelry and the means to provide for their families.
