Zika: One Year Later

Zika swept through South and Central America last year, affecting many mothers and their unborn children. In an effort to stop the spread of Zika, Operation Blessing put a plan together to halt the spread of the Aedes Aegypti mosquito accused of carrying the disease. Apart from Zika, the Aedes Aegypti mosquito can also carry dengue fever and chikungunya. One year after we began our efforts we have made a lot of progress.
