Even though Tamara and her husband work hard at a hotel chain to provide for their two sons, rising grocery prices have put a strain on their finances. Tamara first visited the food pantry at Freedom Church, an Operation Blessing distribution partner, during the pandemic. Even more recently, high gas and food prices have put a strain on their finances. Tamara shared, “Right now, the hours are not the best, but hey, I’m there, and I still need the income.” But it just wasn’t enough.”
