Galina Kucher joined Operation Blessing International Ukraine in 1994, just one year after the outreach center was launched. Since then, OBI’s impact has expanded tremendously and now brings assistance to more than 5,000 hungry, sick and impoverished families and individuals every month.
As the program director, Galina spearheads projects such as Back-to-School and OBI- sponsored soup kitchens that daily provide meals for the hungry in Ukraine. In addition, Galina lends support to local doctors and hospitals by providing them with equipment and other medical supplies.
Born in the Nikolaev region of southern Ukraine, Galina has an unyielding commitment to help those in need in her home country. Galina holds a degree in economics and lives in the Kiev region with her husband and three daughters.
