Memorial Day Scriptures

This Memorial Day, we pause—and we remember.

We remember that freedom has always come at a great price. Brave men and women have laid down their lives to preserve the liberties we too often take for granted. From the battlefields of history to the present day, our nation has been shaped and protected by those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

As we honor these fallen heroes, we are reminded of another sacrifice—the greatest sacrifice of all.

Our servicemen and women gave their lives to secure the freedoms of this nation. Jesus gave His life to secure the eternal freedom of every soul who calls on His name.

On this sacred day of remembrance, may we take time to reflect—not only on the cost of our national freedom, but also on the cost of our spiritual redemption.

At Operation Blessing, we are humbled by the sacrifices that have preserved our freedom—and by the calling we share to live out our faith in service to others. Together with friends like you, we seek to be a living testimony of the freedom, compassion, and hope found in Christ alone.

Today, we remember. And we give thanks.

We honor Them

As the Scriptures fill your heart with faith, please join us in this prayer, sharing it with friends and family:

On this Memorial Day, we pray for those who selflessly gave their lives for our freedom and our nation.  We are grateful for their sacrifice. We honor their memories and are reminded of the sacrifice of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who died to free us from sin and grant us eternal life. May GOD assuage the anguish of those mourning loved ones who died in the service to this nation.

In Jesus Name We Pray,

Amen
