Emmanuela Delsoin Jean Baptiste joined Operation Blessing in July 2020 as the National Director for Haiti.
Emmanuela graduated from medical school in 2015 and holds her master’s degree in global health policy and management from Brandeis University. Before joining Operation Blessing, she worked with another non-profit organization fighting against infectious diseases and malnourishment.
Emmanuela was previously employed with Operation Blessing as the Health Program Manager, managing health programs in Haiti.
The programs included deworming, medical brigades, Life-Changing surgeries and medical gift-in-kind. As a result of her dedicated efforts, she received Operation Blessing’s Award for Excellence in 2018.
Socially engaged, in the aftermath of the 2010 earthquake in Haiti, Emmanuela co-founded a Haitian based non-profit that aims to empower Haitian women. She also sat as a board member for several years for another local organization, devoted to promoting community service and volunteerism among Haitian academics while facilitating professional experience.
Emmanuela lives in Port-au Prince, Haiti, with her husband and their two daughters. She wants to be a good role model that will positively influence Haitian youth, particularly girls. She believes that education and good leadership are the pathways to success.
